Clear Vision: Meet our Doctor

Dr. Koutoulas completed his undergraduate studies at UCLA with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology. He went on to complete his O.D. degree at the Illinois College of Optometry.

Dr. Koutoulas completed his clinical rotations in primary eye care and ocular disease at the Veterans hospital in daytona Beach, Fl., and in the cornea and contact lens section of the Illinois Eye Institute. He also completed a rotation at the Optometric Vision Development Center in La Jolla, CA where he was exposed to complex pediatric binocular disorders and vision therapy.

Dr. Koutoulas believes that patient education as well as a keen understanding of the patient's visual needs are both critical components in eye care. He also places a special emphasis on contact lenses within his practice and successfully fits a wide arrray of contact lens patients. Dr. Koutoulas is fluent in Greek as well as proficient in Spanish.
